MOROZZO IGT ROSSO TOSCANA 2012
Vol. 15%
The glass reveals sharp and very intense purple red hues. Very ripe red fruit, blackberry and black cherry emerge in the olfactory profile. The nose is enriched with fresh balsamic traces where the note of eucalyptus is well-defined. The hinted scent of sweet liquorice enhances a rich and multifaceted aromatic profile. In the mouth, the wine is rich in extracts, filling it with a well-structured volume. The alcoholic notes nicely blend with the acidity matrix, which offers a long a fresh juice. The tannin is sweet and welldefined and the aromatic persistence is decidedly important. The soft and fresh notes of liquorice punctuate the finish in the mouth.
Recommended pairings:
Furred game meat enriched with spices, strongly recommended with stewed wild boar.
